Guayama Spheroids Manufacturing
Spheroids Manufacturing (90,000 SF) - specialized capsules — 1.4 B SDUS with wet granulation as well as bottle and blister packaging. This plant was built in 2004 and was designed for high volume manufacture of coated spheres and encapsulation. It is also equipped for storage and recovery of high volumes of organic solvent.
Highlights of the Spheroids facility include:
- Segregated building with dedicated manufacturing, warehouse, weighing, and chemical laboratory facilities.
- Two modules with wet granulation, spheronization, fluid bed dryers, blending, solvent coating Wursters and encapsulation.
- Enclosed roof organic solvent tank farm and unloading stations with automated addition system.
- Segregated office areas with its own entrance including training and conference rooms.
